Our Story
Founded by sisters Rhiannon Pelletier-Guerrette and Adrienne Pelletier (with the help of Natalie True and Beth Pelletier) in January of 2024, MDCo emerged as a natural extension of the Maine Dance Center school. The initial inspiration for the company arose when Rhiannon and Adrienne recognized a familiar challenge among their students: a profound desire to continue dancing at a high and professional level without having to leave their beloved home state of Maine.
Driven by their own experiences and the aspirations of their students, they decided to create a platform that could fulfill this need. "Build it and they will come" – and that's exactly what happened! MDCo has since grown into a thriving community, providing unparalleled opportunities for local dancers to excel and perform while contributing to the rich cultural tapestry of Maine's performing arts scene.
